Conemaugh School of Nursing has a very active student activities group which helps support the Duke LifePoint Mission of “Making Communities Healthier” by participating in community outreach projects including:

  • Participating in the Johnstown Reverse Halloween Parade (Boo Boo Crew)
  • Administering Flu vaccines
  • Collecting items for Pen Drop in Center “Stock the Store”
  • Participating in the Christmas toy drive for Cambria County Children and Youth Services
  • Delivering over 400 Christmas Cards to local nursing homes
  • Fundraising for Women’s Help Center (Angels in Shelter)
  • Organizing an American Red Cross Blood Drive
  • Collecting items for the Salvation Army
  • Volunteering for the Cambria County Backpack Project
  • Assisting with COVID-19 vaccinations clinics in the community
  • Collecting food for a local pantry
