Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology Admission Requirements
University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown
Applicant must be a graduate of an approved high school. High school rank is considered for admission. The GED equivalency diploma is accepted.
Request an admission packet from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, complete, and submit to the University for enrollment.
Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology
After passing two of the four prerequisite courses at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, students apply to the Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology. The applicant should demonstrate physical health, emotional health, and the aptitude for Surgical Technology.
Submit application items to Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology. A personal interview and tour are scheduled when application has been received by the Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology. All four courses must be completed, and student must earn at least a 2.0 GPA (no failures accepted) before being officially accepted to the Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology acceptance is based on the personal interview, complete application, and completion of the four prerequisite courses with a GPA of at least 2.0 with no failures.

* Anatomy & Physiology II with Lab (4 college cr)
Alegbra I (3 college cr)
DOS (3 college cr)
* Medical Microbiology (3 college cr)
* Medical Microbiology Lab (1 college cr)
