Preceptor Services
EMT and Paramedic
Online Preceptor Program Version 2017
Preceptors serve a vital role in our program and in fact to the entire EMS and healthcare industry. It is because of this challenge that we must assure that you, as a preceptor, have some general knowledge of the current state of our EMS programs and what our students are to do while in a clinical or field rotation.
With the changes that have been instituted over the past 40 years of EMS education, anyone who had previously completed a version of our preceptor program completed a preceptor education program from another education program or you are new to the evaluation of EMS students, will need to complete this program. We realize that there is a commitment of time on your part. Because of successfully completing the program, you will receive 2h of EMS Continuing Education Credits in the other category.
