Jessica Andersen, PharmD

Jessica serves as a preceptor for the Focused Ambulatory Care Department. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from LECOM School of Pharmacy in 2012 and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital near Buffalo NY.  After completing her residency,  Jessica specialized in chronic pain management at Geisinger Medical Center.  She transitioned to her current role as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care in 2017 where she is involved with making recommendations for over 25 primary care offices in the area.   She also focuses on population health and cost-saving initiatives within the hospital and primary care offices.  She enjoys precepting students/residents and values any opportunity to educate the next generation of pharmacists.
