Associate Residency Program Director/Coordinator

Soon after graduating with distinction from Ohio Northern University’s pharmacy program, Dr. Thomas joined the MMC pharmacy team and helped launch the hospital’s first pharmacy practice residency program. She currently serves as its associate director. She conducts daily rounds with the trauma and family medicine teams and helps cover the acute pain service.  She serves as a drug information specialist and helps mentor pharmacy and medical residents and students. During her tenure at MMC, Dr. Thomas has developed many collaborative practice agreements and initiated a pharmacist-led acute pain service and Hepatitis C clinic.  She is a published author and frequent lecturer at physician forums and local nursing schools.  She serves as a preceptor for the Family Practice, Trauma/Surgery, Preceptor Education, and Ambulatory Care rotations.
