What attracted you to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center? During a 3rd year rotation, a doctor I was rotating with told me he did a couple of his medical school rotations at Conemaugh. While looking up the hospital, I found out they had a EM Residency. I quickly applied for a rotation that summer and I enjoyed every second of it. Comparing it to other residencies, it's very unique in the sense that it is a Level-1 Trauma without all the subspecialties, which makes for a fantastic learning environment!
Personal Goals: Get a hole in one, own a house with secret doors no one else knows about, take trip to the Bourbon Trail, and train hard to become the best doctor I can be.
Craziest / Best / Worst Job: Craziest job - Calling numbers for bingo at a nursing home. Between the trash talk and the accusations for cheating, it was a very tense environment. Best Job - working for a local roofing company while I was in high school/college. Worst job - stocking shelves at a grocery store.
Interesting fact: I a twin. In fact, my high school class had 7 sets of twins.
