Conemaugh Physician Group – Obstetrics and Gynecology welcomes Swathi Malepati, DO to the practice.   

Before joining Conemaugh Physician Group, Dr. Malepati made significant contributions to the obstetric and gynecological while working as a Reproductive Health Extern at Bellevue Hospital in New York, NY, and as a Research Assistant to Dr. Arun Jeyabalan of Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  

Beyond her professional endeavors as an OB/GYN physician, Dr. Malepati is an active member of the communities she serves. Most recently, she participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentorship program of Western Pennsylvania. She also participated in health outreach programs in the US, Mexico, and India.  

Dr. Malepati earned her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her OB/GYN Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, MI.  

In addition to being fluent in English, Dr. Malepati also speaks Spanish and basic Telugu, a Dravidian language native to the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  

Dr. Malepati specializes in well checkups, minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, menopause management, adolescent gynecology, overactive bladder, stress urinary incontinence, sexual health, abnormal uterine bleeding, and prenatal and postnatal care. She is accepting new patients at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Conemaugh East Hills Outpatient Center, Conemaugh Somerset Outpatient Center, and Conemaugh Meyersdale Rural Health Clinic.
