Conemaugh Physician Group welcomes fellowship-trained breast surgeon Meaghan Marley, MD.

Dr. Marley graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Temple University. Dr. Marley received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. She completed her residency in general surgery at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA, followed by a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.

Dr. Marley, along with fellowship-trained breast surgeon Renee Arlow, MD and the team of healthcare providers, will see patients at Conemaugh East Hills Outpatient Center where she will specialize in nipple-sparing mastectomy, simple and modified radical mastectomy, sentinel and axillary node dissection and core needle and punch biopsy.

" I am so delighted to be back at Conemaugh Memorial…it feels like coming home. I am eager to join  Dr. Arlow and her team to provide excellent breast care to patients of Johnstown and surrounding communities. Like so many people, several of my relatives have suffered from breast cancer, so I am keenly aware of the impact such a diagnosis can have on both the patients and their loved ones. I am very passionate about the multidisciplinary aspects of breast cancer treatment and hope to bring the skills and knowledge I have learned during my breast surgical oncology fellowship to those affected by breast cancer”, says Dr. Marley.
