Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Promotes John Drzewiecki to Nurse Manager of Cardiac Catheterization & EP Laboratories

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has promoted John Drzewiecki, BS, RN, CCRN to nurse manager overseeing the hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories. In this role, Drzewiecki will coordinate operations of the Cath & EP Labs including care of high-risk coronary interventional patients, as well as elective and emergency procedures. He will also oversee the care of patients having left atrial appendage closure (Watchman) procedures working in collaboration with Conemaugh’s structural heart program.
A Westmont resident and Windber High School graduate, Drzewiecki began his career at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in 2009 after graduating from St. Francis University and the Conemaugh School of Nursing. He served in the Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse prior to transferring to the Cath & EP Labs in 2012.

His experience and leadership will help our Cath & EP labs to provide the highest level of cardiac care for our patients.”
