Nicholas Lanciano, DO, Named Best Doctor in Johnstown Magazine’s Best of Johnstown Awards

Conemaugh Physician Group neurologist Nicholas Lanciano, DO has been named “Best Doctor” in Johnstown Magazine’s Best of Johnstown Awards.
Dr. Lanciano completed his undergraduate biology degree at Saint Francis University in Loretto, followed by medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Neurology Residency at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he earned the Gold Humanism Honors Society Resident Excellence Teaching Award. He completed his Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Lanciano has special interest in epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and treatment of headaches and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Neurology, and American Epilepsy Society. He has extensive training in stroke care and works closely with Conemaugh Memorial's Primary Stroke Center and the Stroke Team.
