Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Clinic Welcomes Khandakar Raihan Hussain, MD

The Conemaugh Memorial Internal Medicine Clinic at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center recently welcomed Khandakar Raihan Hussain, MD to its team. Dr. Hussain will provide outpatient care and inpatient care at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center (1086 Franklin Street). Dr. Hussain also serves as faculty within the hospital’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.
A native of Bangladesh, Dr. Hussain completed his medical education at Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College in Bangladesh and his residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. Following his residency, Dr. Hussain worked as a hospitalist at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with Apogee Physicians before transitioning to the hospital’s Internal Medicine Clinic. He has made Johnstown his home for the past nine years.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Hussain offers adult patients regular wellness visits, screenings, illness visits and diagnosis, management for chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and guidance for proper nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. He is also trained in hospital medicine and takes care of patients while they are admitted to the hospital.
