The success of this initiative is the culmination of months of meticulous planning and cross-departmental coordination involving nursing, pre-op and recovery (PACU), physical therapy, anesthesia, operating room staff, sterile processing, Team Stryker, and Western PA Orthopedics. By streamlining workflows and refining surgical processes, Conemaugh has demonstrated the feasibility of high-efficiency joint replacement days, setting the stage for larger-scale procedures in the future.
