Pre-Arrival Information
For patient convenience, Conemaugh Health System has a pre-service program that will help make a visit go smoothly. After the physician notifies the hospital of the service or procedure needed, a registration specialist will contact the patient. A financial representative will ask the patient a series of personal and financial questions. This information will be kept confidential. During the pre-registration interview, patients need to provide insurance information as well as personal information, such as address and date of birth.
Providing the correct insurance information will help process bills quickly and accurately. This information also will allow Conemaugh representatives to provide an estimated cost for services that insurance does not cover.
Financial Arrangements
Prior to seeking treatment within the Conemaugh Health System, patients should discuss coverage with an employer or private insurance carrier to confirm coverage and to determine if insurance is accepted by Conemaugh Health System.

Patients are responsible for all charges not paid by insurance. Conemaugh Health System accepts personal checks and most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. If a patient is unable to pay the balance due at one time, Conemaugh Health System will arrange a payment plan.
